About Upbound Group, Inc: Upbound Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: UPBD), is a technology and data-driven leader in accessible and inclusive financial solutions that address the evolving needs and aspirations of underserved consumers. The Company’s customer-facing operating units include industry-leading brands such as Acima®, Brigit™, and Rent-A-Center® that facilitate consumer transactions across a wide range of store-based and digital channels in the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Upbound Group, Inc. is headquartered in Plano, Texas. What You'll Do Support strategic initiatives focused on improving the efficiency, consistency, and visibility of property operations across a large national retail portfolio. Partner with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Real Estate, Construction, Procurement, Finance, Risk Management, and field operations to support business initiatives. Complete a summer-long project with measurable business impact and present findings and recommendations to Property Management leadership. Learning Opportunities The internship will provide hands-on exposure to the management of a large, geographically dispersed retail portfolio and demonstrate how Property Management intersects with Facilities, Real Estate, Construction, Finance, Risk Management, Procurement, and field operations. The intern will have opportunities to analyze real business problems, collaborate with cross-functional partners, develop recommendations, and present findings to Property Management leadership. The goal is for the intern to leave the summer having completed a meaningful project that can be implemented or used by the business, not simply having observed the function. What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Demonstrated interest in corporate real estate, property management, facilities operations, or business operations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proven leadership potential through academic achievement, internships, campus involvement, athletics, military service, or extracurricular activities. Preferred Qualifications Prior internship, work, or project experience in property management, real estate, facilities, operations, finance, or a related field. Experience analyzing data and developing recommendations based on insights. Coursework in real estate, finance, accounting, business analytics, operations management, or related disciplines. Work Location Ability to work in our corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas throughout the entire ten-week summer intern program.
